30 Years of Democracy in South Africa

Culture is a wheel of understanding one another or telling a story that cannot otherwise be told as a collective.

Jazz Against Apartheid : Beyond Exile

Uniting “old” fighters for elementary freedoms with new and future generations. Making an essential aspect of the buried cultural heritage accessible to a young generation of professional jazz musicians who have grown up in the post-Apartheid society. A profound cross-fertilization developed on a foundation of 60 years of exile history and 36 years of friendships formed in the struggle.

Jazz Diaspora

It doesn’t matter where we come from, what colour we are, who we, what we play, as long as we bring all that and we have to it, that speaks volumes to the music, to the longevity and, the sustainability of this project. It is music of meaning and impact. Those people, all of those people are heroes in many ways to the, to the culture, to the music, to the society, and to the diaspora and the exile.
