Brief info

Mdantsane born young just jazz pianist who seeks to heal nations with his exquisite tickles of the ivory.

He is a qualified musician, obtaining his Diploma in Music at the Nelson Mandela University under the tutelage and mastery of John Edwards.
Though jazz is his first love, he has found himself opening stages for mainstream acts like Emtee, Zakwe (to name a few) with his East London based band “Lee Hong and The Monks".

In 2019 he was the recipient for the Charles Bryars Jazz Scholarship. He aims to reach international audiences with his combination of jazz, Indian and Xhosa sounds.

He has accompanied the likes of Dumza Maswana, Ntsika (from The Soil) and Phila Madlingozi (son of Ringo Madlingozi). He currently resides in Gqeberha and continues to pursue his music in the city.
